Is Neverwinter Nights' unofficial patch 1.71 worth getting? Or just stay with the rebuild 1.69 patch? I've already got started on Undrentide but I'm still curious. I didn't find a whole lot about the patch using google, so I figured there would be some NWN fans that could clue me in on here. Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete is an epic RPG set in the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms, one of the most popular campaign settings of Dungeons & Dragons. Use all the wicked spells, feats, and prestige classes from the D&D 3.5 rules.
I've noticed that a lot of people were saying that they would like to play the Baldur's Gate Reloaded mod with SoZ party-chat style conversations. So I decided to try and start converting the dialog files myself in the toolset. It quickly evolved into something of an unofficial patch as I started finding a lot of bugs in the process. Well, after 5 weeks, here is the final product.

I wonder if a couple of you guys with some time on your hands might test this submod for Baldur's Gate Reloaded? If it's actually worth a crap, I might consider officially posting it here and on the Vault. It's a 3.5MB file so it should download quick.
This submod converts almost every BGR dialog into the Storm of Zehir party-chat style.
The only conversations that have not been converted are ones with complex cutscenes and/or it has multiple actors.
- Conversations no longer end abruptly.
- Single lines of text converted to one-liner floating text where appropriate.
- Lipflappers have been added where they were missing.
- Fixes some Action (ga_) and Condition (gc_) assignments.
- Closes conversation loopholes (removes exploits).
- Splits long paragraphs of text into separate lines of text.
- Highlighted text added to conversations using skill checks or opening stores.
- Fixes a couple stores in TOSC to have corrected prices.
Install instructions are included in the download.
There's also a compatibility patch for those using the Silverwand BGR Enhancement submod. I had to edit the campaign.cam file as it was necessary to increase the conversation distance while using the SOZ party-chat. Otherwise, if some of your party members were too far away, they would not be included in the conversation.
Let me know what you guys think.
